Who We Are

The Institute of Public Relations in Tanzania (IPRT) is a Tanzania based firm whose purpose is encapsulated in four areas:

1. Through training and targeted audits, to address corporate communication gaps experienced between an entity and its stakeholders in the areas of crisis management and brand management.

2. To address through trainings, gaps between what is happening on the ground in different sectors/industries and what local journalists are actually reporting. In other words, who is telling our story, what are they saying and are they being objective while saying it.

3. To recognize and promote continued excellence in leadership and communication through the Tanzania Communications Excellence Awards [TCEA].

4. To disseminate accurate and reliable information in the areas of Public Relations, Corporate and Marketing Communications, Leadership and Governance through the IPRT magazine, Reputation Today.
